De Ruwenberg Estate respects the privacy of visitors to its website. We make sure that the information you provide to us is treated confidentially.

Privacy policy
When you make a reservation through our website or another booking site, or are otherwise in contact with De Ruwenberg Estate, we record your details. This also applies when you request information, such as brochures or quotes. We only record the data that is strictly necessary to provide our service. We record your personal data so that we can handle your reservation or request as effectively as possible. This data is processed with care. If the necessary data is not provided, De Ruwenberg Estate cannot process the request or booking. De Ruwenberg Estate does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. De Ruwenberg Estate only shares your personal data with third parties where this is necessary to perform the agreement. We have concluded a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Newsletter
If you have provided your email address to receive our newsletter, you will receive information from us about relevant and interesting products and services of De Ruwenberg Estate. If you no longer wish to receive this information, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the newsletter. You can also send an email stating your name and registered email address to info@ruwenberg.nl. Your email address will then be removed from the mailing list.

Spam Protection
To protect our forms against spam and misuse by bots, we use Cloudflare Turnstile from Cloudflare, Inc. Turnstile works in the background and checks whether a form is being filled in by a person. In doing so, technical data may be processed, such as your IP address and information about your browser and device. We only use this data to secure our website and forms. Right to access, rectify or erase your personal data
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, or to object to the processing of your personal data by De Ruwenberg Estate, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can ask us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation you name. You can send a request for access, rectification, erasure or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@ruwenberg.nl. We ask you to include a copy of your proof of identity with your request, so that we can be sure the request was made by the right person. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone: the two or three lines at the bottom of the front page of your passport or on the back of your ID card), your passport number and your citizen service number (BSN). This protects your privacy. We will respond to your request within 4 weeks. We collect data for research purposes to gain better insight into our customers, so that we can tailor our services accordingly.
